Product Details

After calcination at high temperature, golden raw vermiculite can rapidly expand to about 5-25 times to become golden expanded vermiculite. Golden expanded vermiculite has a layered structure with crystal water between the layers., so it is an excellent heat preservation, heat insulation, sound absorption, frost-resistant building material, as well as industrial fillers, coatings and refractory material. The thermal conductivity of expanded vermiculite is low, and the bulk density is about 50-200kg/m3. Golden expanded vermiculite has excellent quality that can be used at temperatures up to 1100°C. In addition, expanded vermiculite has good electrical insulation properties.

Applications for golden expanded vermiculite:

1.In the construction industry, expanded vermiculite is mainly used to make loose fillers, expanded vermiculite products, expanded vermiculite concrete, etc., and is used as materials for light weight, heat preservation, heat insulation, sound absorption, and fire prevention.
2.In agriculture and horticulture, it is used as a nutrient release agent, soil conditioner, fertilizer and pesticide carrier, and a base bed for hydroponic crops. It is also used for vegetable, flower, and fruit cultivation.
3. In terms of environmental protection, it is used as an adsorbent for removing harmful substances and an ion exchange treatment agent for wastewater treatment and waste gas purification.
4. In animal husbandry, expanded vermiculite has unique structural characteristics and surface properties, as well as non-toxic, sterile and chemically inert, and can be used as a carrier, adsorbent, fixative, and feed additive.
5. In addition, the use of vermiculite has been widely used in construction, petroleum, shipbuilding, environmental protection, heat preservation, heat insulation, insulation, energy saving and other fields. Vermiculite is also used in asbestos-free friction materials, filter aids, etc.
